The Eurovision Young Dancers competition is open to solo dancers aged between 16 and 21, from EBU Member broadcasters.
The aim of the competition is to provide a showcase for top-class contemporary artistic dance performances and bring the
finest young dancers to the international spotlight, in front of a large television audience.
The new format features solo performances by each participant, then a ‘group dance’, in which the dancers are divided into two groups. The jury then selects a finalist from each group and the two then perform a ‘dance-off' duel to decide the winner.
